All it takes is one person one moment to change the life of a child. You are that person.

Who I Am

I started teaching as one of the first women instructors at The US Army Petroleum School at Ft. Lee and have been teaching ever since. When I graduated from George Mason University my goal was to be a well rounded teacher. I taught kindergarten in the UK and S. Korea with the Department of Defense before coming to Georgia. My intention was to go to law school, but that was before I worked for Dr. Dexter who saw something in me and encouraged me to go to graduate school. That led to picking up a degree at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. I've been teaching elementary school in one capacity or another for a little over twenty years. Teaching is one of the great joys in my life. I am very grateful to work with a wonderful team at a great school. I hope your teaching path is as filled with wonder and delight as mine is and if it isn't I hope you find inspiration here.
